Room Decor DIY - Scalloped Trim Pillow (No sew)

Today's post I am bringing you an affordable and easy room decor DIY.  Using Scalloped trim and a table napkin, I created a throw pillow.  You can watch the video above or follow the directions listed below.  I hope you enjoy!

Materials Needed:
Cloth Napkin - can be found in the dish-ware section at Target, Macys, etc
Scalloped Trim - Craft Store
Pillow Stuffing Sutffing - I recycled my old pillow
Glue Gun
Scissors

Step 1
Starting with cloth napkin.  Fold in half and glue three sides, the fourth side should be left unglued (it needs an opening to insert stuffing).

Step 2
Measure with scallop trim to determine how much trim you will use for the cloth napkin.  This step is simple because the cloth napkin has a set measurement.  Basically, you just need to follow the edge of the cloth napkin.  Measure, cut, and glue on to the edges of the cloth napkin. Let glue dry.

Step 3
Cut open an old pillow to use the stuffing.  Insert as much stuffing needed for pillow.

Step 4
Once pillow is stuffed and shaped.  Glue the end to close.  Easy right?!

Use as a throw pillow for a little extra decor on furniture.

Estimated Time of project: Under 30 minutes.
Level: Easy
Cost: Under $10

Keyboard Cover for Macbook Pro - Full Review

Hi everyone!

I'm back to blogging and will be doing so every week.  I wanted to change things up a bit and will be blogging about anything fashion and beauty related.  From home decor, DIY projects, reviews, and more!

Today I am sharing a review.  This is not just any review, but a review of an item that I own and have had for awhile.  Hopefully this will be helpful for some of you looking into buying products that I have shared.  I personally like to research on products before buying just to see if it's really worth the money and what the product actually looks like in picture.  Alot of the time I find myself searching everywhere online to find pictures of the actual product, which is hard to find.  You will see a full review and what I mean by full is a before and after of the product.  I don't see reviews that share how a product is in the long run.  I hope you find this helpful and let me know if you like the idea!

As you can see the pictures above, this is my new keyboard cover for my laptop.  It is my second keyboard cover (below are pics of my old cover).  For around $2-$5 if purchased on Ebay, this affordable cover is definitely worth it! I've weighed out the pros and cons from my own experience and you can see if it is a good purchase for you.

PROS:
-Affordable ($2-$5) Get it HERE
-Protects keyboard from dust/dirt
-Variety of colors and designs
-Last about 1-2 years.

CONS:
-After 1-2 years, key cover lettering discolored and may rip.
-I purchased my new and old cover from different sellers and I noticed the key tab for the eject button on my old cover is different than my new cover, which is a power button.  But if you have used your Macbook for awhile you most likely memorized and are able to locate each key. No biggie.

My old keyboard cover which I've had for two years. You can see all of the dust/dirt that has been collected.  Some of the keys have been worn or discolored.  The tab "A" has a little rip which you aren't able to see through picture.
