DIY Mother's Day Gift Idea | Floral Initials

Mother's Day is on May 11! Did you get your mother a gift yet?  Here is a easy and fun DIY! These are floral initials that you can personalize for her.  She can store this on her office desk, nightstand, or anywhere she wants.  The best thing about it is that it's personalized and the artificial flowers will last forever! All supplies were under $5, bringing the total cost to only $25 and under.

Here is what I did to create this...
With acrylic paint, paint the wooden letters and plaque.  Let dry.
Glue artificial flowers with hot glue onto wooden letters.  Before this you want to draft where each flower will go and you can start gluing.
*Paint and flower choice is up to you.  When choosing flowers just make sure they fit on the letters because you don't want it to overlap the letter, otherwise you won't be able to tell what letter it is.

When you have covered each letter.  Remove the tag on the back of the letter to ensure that the glue and letter will stick together.
Place on plaque.
When glue is dried that means everything is done!

Don't forget to wrap it in a box with a ribbon!
